  On today I came in to pay on a pawn of a 2 in 1 HP touch screen laptop/Tablet. Upon pulling my laptop Tammy revealed to me my laptop had been broken while In pawn at cash America. My direct quote "I'm speechless, i know accidents happen, but that was a gift".I remained calm and waited to see what can be done... Tammy then went to the back spoke with Michelle came back to me and said "I could either have my $500 laptop fixed by them free of charge and I pay nothing or I could choose a latop of similar value free of charge." I then proceeded to walk around the store to choose my "replacement laptop" with Steve.. he assisted me and I explained to him what was going on and I explained all of my laptops features. NONE OF THEIR LAPTOPS HAD THE QUALITY OF MINE. so I choose one that was close to my laptop it was a Lenova yoga model touch screen but it didn't turn into a tablet like mine but hey its free, I get to take it home today and they were righting THEIR screw up... 1 min later tammy comes back and says she and Michelle had a mix up and they are just gonna fix my screen and I will still need to pay them my full loan plus pawn payments...WAIT u go from free laptop to ME waiting on u to get some Joe blow to put a CHEAP amazon screen on my white HP laptop/tablet combo. Plus 9 times out of 10 they gonna have to drop out 200 or more to fix the screen led digitizer,etc. Smh so at this point I'M PISSED. IN A BUSINESS ONCE U TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE GETTING IT FOR, THAT'S GOOD AS A CONTRACT, THE DEAL IS DONE! I argued the fact that now they are changing their deal and in the end I'm getting nothing for them breaking my laptop! at that point MICHELLE MADE IT CLEAR TO THE WHOLE STORE THAT IT'S "THEIR PROPERTY NOT MINE". That statement alone was out of line! She let me know thats the way it's gonna be and I can talk to Mike Monday. I've purchased bikes, diamond rings, gadgets, and pawned items and more. AND I ALWAYS LIKED EVERYONE THERE as the other reviews say, Mike's always so cheery running around helping everyone PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE but I guess since Mike was out Michelle was running the show and she ran it with poor customer service, poor class, attitude and no customer resolution. I will be returning only to retrieve my broken product and filing a complaint to the highest of my ability and never coming back. It was an embarrassment and a hurtful experience to say the least. They are liars and when I gave them patience and understanding they turned around and told me where I could shove it. I had a half mind to call the police. The only thing that calmed me was another customer telling me its ok, talk to Mike, he can fix this. Michelle argued back and forward giggling to her sidekicks behind the counter like children. In all my 31 years I don't have to be disrespected but ONCE. My faimly, friends, coworkers, and anyone with an ear will HEAR ABOUT THE LIES AND BROKEN TRUST THAT HAPPEN ON TODAY. It's sad that in this day and age customer service is basically piss in a boot. Especially when management is on a short vaca.
